Beachfront and riverfront properties in Compo, Saugatuck Shores, or Greens Farms cost more, since those need tide-aware timing, usually a sunset return, and often a water-approach sequence. Event coverage at the Levitt or the Playhouse is priced separately given the coordination involved.

Compo Beach and Saugatuck Shores are direct-water listings where the flight establishes beach access, dock, and Sound view in one move. Greens Farms is the estate end, with big lots where an overhead pass conveys acreage properly. Coleytown and the north end above the Merritt are wooded and family-oriented, closer to a New Canaan flight plan. Downtown and the Saugatuck district sell on walkability to the river, restaurants, and the train.

Late May through September for anything touching water. Compo and Sherwood Island genuinely need summer to look like themselves, with full beach activity and the Sound at its bluest, and the Levitt season adds evening energy downtown. Late September is the ideal compromise, when the crowds thin but the water still reads warm. Mid-October is the choice for wooded north-end properties, when the canopy turns. Winter shoreline footage here tends to look bleak, which rarely helps a listing.

Two to three business days for standard listings. Waterfront packages take three to four, since we often shoot two sessions across different light and tide conditions and cut them together. Arts and event footage is usually next-day, because a Levitt performance or a Playhouse opening loses relevance quickly. Westport agents often push for a Wednesday or Thursday listing launch, so tell us the date at booking and we will fly early enough in the week to absorb one weather day comfortably.
